Practice Philosophy
Work diligentlly to diagnose tough cases.  Listen to patients.  Be compassionate. Be professional. Spend extra time with a patient when necessary.  Inform patients then respect their choices. Stay current with scientific advances.  Use office personnel to assist patients in finding funding sources for expensive medications where possible.  Use natural agents like SAMe when appropriate.  Emphasize a healthy lifestyle incorporating Vitamin D3, exercise  and a healthful diet. Refer patients to the most skilled physical therapists including ones good at starting out of shape patients on a sustainable exercise program and ones using myofascial release therapy for control of neck and spine pain.  When surgery becomes necessary, refer patients to a select group of the most skilled surgeons with the best outcomes who are also willing to advise against surgery if appropriate.  For top quality care, use only registered nurses in the back office and on the phone.  To optimize quality and avoid self-referral bias, use conventient nearby laboratory and x-ray facilities rather than in office services.  Use continuously updated sources of medical information including UpToDate and The Prescriber's Letter.   See pharmaceutical representatives very sparingly.
